We have used a variety of different types of CMS, from MIT's custom PHP CMS to the open source out of the box Django CMS to our own custom version of the Django CMS tailored to the clients needs. We prefer to use the Django CMS because even the out of the box development CMS is extremely easy to understand and use. It makes the transition from our developers to the client go that much smoother.
