Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: Our connection to the customer. We strive to really understand what the customer is seeing for his business, then help that vision come true.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Web search.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Communication.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: We have a questionnaire to help potential customers find out what is really important to them. If it is compatible with the way we do business, great. If not, we refer them to another web design company.

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: Mobile.

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: Both PC and Mac

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: It had to be web related. We moved into a 90+ year old building in historic downtown Fargo. Instead of trying to modernize, we liked the contrast of cutting edge technology and old fashioned style. The domain name also had to be available. We ended up with The Web Shoppe using the old style spelling of shop.

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Keep it updated. It could be writing blog posts several times a week or just reviewing and updating the existing information. If a potential customer sees your website, you want them to be informed and not turned away.
