Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: Our goal is to help school communicate more effectively with their audiences, increase enrollment and attract quality staff, and help them tell their stories.

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: Woman-owned company that hires independent contractors and stay-at-home moms. Focus on ongoing customer support.

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: Everyone in our company works remotely, supporting each other in our home offices through technology. We have an extensive support system, are a tight-knit group with each individual excelling to their highest level.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: Unlike most other design companies, the design is just the starting point with us. We stay with our clients for the long haul, helping them daily to keep their sites engaging, compliant, informative, and accurate. We can do it more affordably than schools can afford to keep these skills in house.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Referrals. Once a school uses our services, they never want to go back to a CMS system, so our clients make all of our referrals.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: We assign the Project Manager to the client and have a comprehensive process to make sure all aspects are completed and customized to the client's needs. There are one-on-one conversations with the client so the complexities are out of sight and simple from a client perspective. When the website is live, we introduce the client to the new team manager, which is the customer support team manager and show them the simple method for submitting updates, adding new features, or getting our help. We do all the work for them, but we help them get us news, stories, videos, and other information to keep their school website current.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Sincerity and honesty.

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: We are always honest and kind. Sometimes a client isn't a match for us and we describe what we do right up front and if a client finds they need something else, we make referrals to other companies who provide different services. We love our clients and they love us, but if we can't provide services they require, we are happy to guide them to where they can get what they need.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: There is no quick process, but they first need to decide how much of the work they want to do themselves and if they have the skill sets to manage it. Building a website is no longer difficult, but managing it correctly and turning it into a communication media outlet is what matters. That comes from management.

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: The premier virtual Webmaster company for public schools, charter schools, and private schools in the United States and Canada and English speaking International Schools.

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: Responsive, ADA accessible, beautiful and informative websites that help people get the information they need, regardless of their device or technology level.

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: Both PC and Mac

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: We wanted a name that was descriptive of exactly what we did, and we are the school webmasters to hundreds and hundreds of schools. Far beyond designing a site, we actually become partners and staff for our clients and help them shine all year long--day in and day out.

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Keep it current! A static site doesn't help you with SEO and won't bring potential clients back. Keep it informative, well written, engaging, and you'll be a winner.
