Q: What's your name and position in the company?
A: Richard Kersey
Q: Describe your company in 5 words.
A: A Digital Management Agency
Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: There is something special about your business, our goal is to let the world know what it is.
Q: Describe your office environment.
A: Our office environment is a busy, laid back tech office. We have lots of space and work in a team environment that is open for conversation at all times.
Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: We work very well together, we believe it is easier to openly discuss projects and issues to get everyone's take on it. This allows us to not only be more efficient but also to get different takes on the project, or issue. One person may be able to quickly and easily solve or help but if not discussed or brought up others may struggle.
Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: We are a small company and like it that way. We stay small so that we can work hard on the projects that we have. This allows us to direct our energy on the project at hand and not try and multitask and have 100 hands in the pot. We believe that making and keeping our clients happy is the most important aspect.
Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Word of mouth and marketing.
Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: During the first initial client contact we ask them what they are looking for and want. We make sure we are a match for them. We ask budget and where they want to be. We then send them a New Project Questionnaire, which allows the client or potential client to give us in detail information. Which they then return to us and we send out proposal for amounts dates and what to expect. Once approved we have a kick off meeting, it then goes to graphic designs, coding, programming, go live testing, go live delivery, then if wanted ongoing site management.
Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: You put them as one of your main priority. You need to keep to the time frame you said, or as close as possible. Good communication between the two of you, and keeping the client happy.
Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: We understand that in everyone's eyes their web site is the most important thing. We do our best to keep up both verbally and within updates. We keep ourselves small so that we do not become over loaded with to much work and not be able to allow ourselves to be at our clients demands.
Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Before you can ask your web designer to create your site, you must already know what you want to achieve from that site.
