This was the first of the \\\\\\\"Modern\\\\\\\" Izzy\\\\\\\'s and was opened on Izzy\\\\\\\'s Gomez Birthday, by Sam DuVall, a veteran San Francisco Restaurateur in February of 1987. Many photos of the original Izzy\\\\\\\'s and much old San Francisco memorabilia hang from the walls making the restaurant a history laden spot which appeals to history buffs of all ages. Friendly wait staff, great food, and a wonderful atmosphere combine for a memorable dining experience.
