A: It's a home office

A: Advice that was given to me years ago: hire people smarter than you. I added: then task them to their giftings. They will take care of you.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: One, would be personal interaction and involvement. Two, we don't consult or recommend things that have not been tried and tested. We desire for you to succeed, not just pay us a bunch of money and good luck.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Word of mouth and Google.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: One, is short turnover time from idea to launch. Two, is continual client involvement.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Simple: communication and integrity. You have to communicate. You also need to be transparent and honest. Let them know you will serve their needs even if it is a stretch for you to provide the solution.

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: Customers respect someone who will be a "straight shooter". I don't like tire kickers (a car salesman term) and I don't like people who expect a $5000 website for $100. If you wish to succeed with your business, then you need to pay me what it will truly cost for me to help you get there.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: One recommendation is being honest, answer their questions timely, and if you don' know the answer you will get it to them. If you absolutely cannot provide what they want, recommend them to someone else (even if it is your competitor).

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: The goal of Williams Web Solutions is to not be another web design company or hosting company...but a company that provides those services with quality customer support and service. With that, I see Williams Web Solutions going much further than 10 years.

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: If your company isn't continuing to learn, grow, and diversify your offerings, you will be closed.

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: PC

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: Partly my last name. Initially, I wanted something like Williams Web Works because it would had been "WWW". But I am content with the name.

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Listen to what I recommend--regardless of who designs your website. Customers who listened to me and did what I recommend (whether I did it, they did it, or someone else did it) made money. Those who expect just having a website is enough failed.
