Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: We make web sites that businesses more money, more profits. We keep things simple with our clients and they trust to know whats required to build a site that will deliver the results they demand.
Q: Describe your office environment.
A: Busy, buzzing especially when we land a new client and when we complete a client's website and its handed over.
Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: We work closely as communications is the key, we use a CRM system to keep on top of our growing client list. All of our clients get nominated account managers, delivery manager and designers they can communicate with directly.
Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: We build websites that make businesses money. Why else be in the business? we're not here for our own vanity. We listen carefully to all our clients requirements and make sure we fully understand all their goals and expectations before starting work.
Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: We get the bulk of our work from referrals, we also use a wide range of direct marketing campaigns.
Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: We have PRICE2 qualified project managers in our business and we use our CRM / Client Management system. This ensures once the milestones and baseline for the project are set we can ensure we deliver on time and in budget.
Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Listen to their needs, dreams, expectations and demands. Understand them clearly ensuring all points are clarified. Managing expectations is critical.
Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: All of our clients are demanding! We treat all of our clients with the respect and service we'd expect of ourselves if we were in their shoes.
Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Contact their customers, try to find out the customers they don't put in their portfolio, get a good rounded amount of feedback.
Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: Employing about 10-15 staff, we dont want a large business as we will lose touch with our clients who like the personal touch from Zen
Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: Globalisation has seen a big increase in web designers from outside of the UK which in turn has driven sown some prices, but as demand increases especially for e-commerce and social media interactions so will prices.
Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: Both PC and Mac
Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Make sure it either makes money for your business or builds brand awareness
