A: Relaxed and friendly but professional at all times.

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: We are as professional as we can be as a working unit. There is always a bit of fun in the workplace and this is good for moral and team spirit. We are upfront with each other and honest in every way and this contributes to a great end product at the end of the day.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: Unlike a lot of other web companies that we have been informed about we are not out to drive a hard sale or rush anyone into making a decision. Yes its important that we get business but at the same time we want customer's faith and trust. We guide and advise from the start and with this being a big part of our approach it goes a very long way. This service continues through the web design process and for the life of the websites meaning that we have strong working relationships with all of our clients.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: A lot of our work comes simply from direct contact with other businesses, a lot of them local businesses and others anywhere in the UK. It saves a lot of money rather than trying to get leads from other sources which in many cases get you nothing. Its all in our service, approach, attitude and showing results in what we have achieved already for other businesses. We get good amounts of work through recommendations which tells us that we are looked at in a good light.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: We are in close contact with our customers from the word Go. From early stages and through the whole designing process our technical team are in touch so that customers know exactly what is happening at all times until their finished project is complete and ready to go live.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: As I said before its all about giving them all of the information that they need from the start. We listen and give people all the answers that they are looking for. Maintain that same professional service through the web design process and by the end of it you get to know customers on a more personal level. Once websites are launched, we know our customers well enough for them to contact us at any time if they need help or assistance.

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: Before starting any web project we discuss time scales and deadlines and what looks realistic so that customers know what we are aiming for. Every customer is a priority but at the same time they have to understand that we are working with a number of businesses. With demanding clients its best to listen and reassure and depending on what the situation is and how demanding the customer is we sometimes have to shift things about to keep everyone happy.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Look through portfolios and client galleries and make sure that you are going with a company who provides a high standard of web design. Ask all of the questions that you want answers for, get prices and go with the company who is not striving to get your money. I would always go for the company who makes a real effort to work to requirements.

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: Progressing and expanding as a business like we are now. I have seen the results that we achieve. What we provide is affordable to any business and the more people that know about us the better.

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: The days of the yellow pages and directories will be gone meaning that every business will have to have a website. We have seen a change in the last 12 months so in the next 5 to 10 years web companies will be needed even more than now.

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: Both PC and Mac

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: We chose Whisper Media as our name, because to access a website data has to Whisper down cables to get the information needed.

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Maximise on your unique selling points so that you stand out from the competition. Ensure that it delivers 100% on the mission critical requirement, such as promoting your services, products all providing the correct information. Always design a site with accessibility, usability and search engine optimisation in mind at all times.
