Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: To maximise sales for clients and ensure they are serviced properly without being blinded by geek'terminology. We aim to provide a total soluton and help clients make the most of their internet investments.
Q: Describe your office environment.
A: Friendly, productive and dynamic. We have a relaxed working environment and happy souls within it.We work hard to meet the needs and demands of our clients within a friendly supportive team.
Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: We collaborate as any good team should, sharing ideas and exploring new opportunities where possible. We adapt to evolving technologies and embrace workable features as long as they add value to our client projects.
Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: The technology is the same for all companies, the approach is what makes a design firm unique. We are first and foremost business people, driven by a MD with a corporate background in sales. Our philosphy is to apply a business logic to internet technology, not the other way round. You have to understand how to do business, before you can apply it properly via a website.
Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: word of mouth generally. We get a little bit through natural listings on the search engines and occassionally PPC, but we get recommended by our clients and work comes through repeat and referred business. We used to advertise in Internet Works magazine years ago but that stopped when the magazine ended and since then, we rely on referrals.
Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: We take time to understand the needs and objectives of our clients before putting forward ideas and examples for discussion, forming a spec to follow.
Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: honesty, integrity, perserverance and open dialogue
Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: we meet the demands of demanding clients by driving ourselves towards success
Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: In order for a project to truly succeed, it is vital for a client and designer to be able to get on in order to communicate properly. Price is important but skills and the ability to collaborate properly is essential.
Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: We established in 1999 and have adapted over the last 11 years and will continue to adapt over the next. We expect much more development within the mobile web area over the next 10 years and will adapt to ever changing needs.
Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: There will always be a need for bespoke work to be done seperating template driven, automated vendors from tailored services which have been emerging over last few years. Mobile application development is the way forward for now.

A: Both PC and Mac

A: W.E.B.S Ltd is short for Web Enterprise Business Solutions Limited which back in 1999 as it is now, stands for business focused website solutions.
Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Now more than ever, people want a bargain. Unless you have a unique product or service, you must set yourself apart from the competition. Competing on price alone is impossible, but adding value is key. Offer something that others are not and promote, promote, promote.
