Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: We enjoy every project we work on. Seriously! It helps to produce a better end result. There's no better feeling than developing on a site from conception through to release and then post support and watching those Google rankings get higher!

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: Friendly, supportive and in the heart of Cardiff right opposite the castle.

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: We're firm believers in community development so everyone has an opinion on what a developer is doing and this helps immensely in creating a website and getting feedback, not just from our staff but outside focus groups.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: Our broad range of skills. It's not just good web design, it's the technology you use to develop it on and the platform you host it with. It has to be scalable, a website is just the start, scalability is the key for long term relationships.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Word of mouth (very valuable) and via our Partners, a strong relationship that benefits them and us financially. Our Partners like the idea that they can sell our services to their clients safe in the knowledge that all the technical stuff is covered by us.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: Consultation and evaluation. Implementation. Testing and sign off. Release. Post release support & changes.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Explaining the requirements of a website without using any "teccy" terms. Though if we do, feel free to tell us off! Most problems in web site design/development come from misunderstandings and assumptions. Clear communication that everyone understands leads to a much better project experience.

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: We split up the requirements into phases. Each phase is clearly marked as a milestone which requires sign off form our project manager and yours. Once signed off, we move onto the next stage. This is especially important for larger sites or sites with complex development and/or tight deadlines.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Contact someone who has written a review of their services. We're very happy for prospective customers to do that for us and our clients will gladly give you a reference. Check their credentials. Do they have insurance (PI and PL). Do they own the software/hardware your site is hosted on? What happens when you want to move away?

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: Still here! Using whatever is the latest server and web development technology. To be honest, 10 years from now is a massive amount of time in "internet years". One year can see changes that can redesign the whole internet landscape!

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: Same as it is now. After all, designers have been "designers" since the introduction of the Gutenberg press‎. Technology changes, but core skills stay the same.

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Keep your content fresh and interesting. Search engines like this and it will give your customers more reasons to keep visiting your site, even if it's just an e-commerce site. Keep an eye on new technologies and services. Many of our clients have opted for a Facebook and Twitter account to supplement their website. This can drive more revenue to your main website.
