A: Paul Daly and I'm the Founder, Principal Consultant & Creative Director at Cornwall Domain Agency.

A: To work closely with the client and excel their expectations.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: We not only offer website design, but also offer quality brandable and keyword domain names which can act as a great help towards search engine placement. We are also straightforward, easy to deal with, people who tossed the textbooks and technical jargon in the bin years ago!

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Theres no clear answer to this question really. We receive our work from various streams, although we get plenty from word of mouth. We also own a large selection of generic domains & websites.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: With focus and integrity.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Trust. Trust has been bonding man for centuries.

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: With tenacity.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Finding one thats local can sometimes be an advantage, although thats not always the case. Check out at least 5 or so different companies to see what each one can offer. Of course it's always advisable to ask questions about timescale and budget, but don't be fobbed off with hard to understand jargon. Make sure you know what you are getting for your money and also if you can update it yourself rather than pay inflated fee's to a designer every time you need to make any adjustments.

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: Sold to one of the big players.

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: With uncertaincy, like most industries at this difficult time, especially with so many free web builder sites out there these days. But I think there will always be a need for creativity, branding, consultations, etc. Setting up a business is one thing but you will need a certain aptitude & flair towards design to build a good looking successful website.

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: PC

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: We specifically started off as an agency selling domain names and we are based in beautiful Cornwall. It was a no-brainer really!

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Allow a good sized budget for SEO (search engine optimisation). It's not much use having a professional looking, all singing - all dancing website if you come out on page 23 in most search engines.
