A: Our aim is to help local businesses get more from the web, whether it's their first website or a fully interactive ecommerce website.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: The most important part of the initial contact is to understand the clients requirements, and how to best meet them whilst keeping within their budget. During the project, keeping the client informed of progress, and getting feedback on the website during development is key. On handover we explain everything and provide written instructions, and then we offer on-going support.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Being available to discuss progress and issues is important. No one likes waiting days just to get a response from an email.

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: All clients rightly demand the best for their website and their business, and we don't have a problem with that.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: If you have a recommendation, that's a good place to start. Speak to all the companies and check out their portfolios. Ask about the payment policy - do they ask for a large fee up front? Price is important but should not be the only factor - as with many other purchases, you may live to regret a 'bargain' item. If you're still unsure, go with your instincts.

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: Providing a good service to local busineses, just as we do now.

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: Website will continue to evolve and become ever more interactive. Designs that work well on mobile devices like iphones are increasingly important.

A: We chose 'Sheffield Website Design' because it's simple, and it describes where we are and what we do.

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: View your website as an on-going project, not just a job to be 'ticked off' and forgotten about. Keep it up to date, and looking loved! An out of date website says so much about your company, and it's not the messsage you want.
