Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: To make the web accessible to every business, no matter how large or small their company or their budget may be.

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: You can often see us creating wacky inventions, thinking outside the box or socialising together. We believe that creating a relaxed and fun way of working ensures that we don't come to work, we come to play and that gives us the best results. However, when the going gets tough you'll see us with our headphones in, creating the best websites around!

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: You'll often see us drawing our ideas on a whiteboard and discussing the projects as a group. Overcoming problems together and coming up with creative solutions unique for that project. We believe that everyone is a stakeholder in a project and not just the people building it. That way, we ensure that everyone is proud of the websites we're sending out.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: We really do listen and understand our clients. We've been a small business so know exactly how competitive business is. That's why we've come up with a website solution for every business, from our £9.99pm websites to fully bespoke websites for those that want something a little more tailored towards their business.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: We're proud to say that most of our business comes through word of mouth/recommendations. That said, we're an active part of our community and we don't hide behind an email inbox. You'll often find us at trade shows giving people advice on how to improve their presence online so you can meet the people behind the build of your website.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: Continuity is key, we like a hands on approach.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: We believe people buy a service before a product. That's why we pride ourselves on not just our great websites but also our great service. You'll never feel overcome with technical jargon and will always be fully informed as to the lifecycle of your website.

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: Through communication. Demanding clients are just passionate people, so our job is to extract those ideas from them and create what they see in their head on the web.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Always check out the portfolio as that will give you more of an idea of their range of creativity and will allow you the ability to check to see if they have worked on projects that closely match yours.

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: We see ourselves still coming up with fresh ideas and new ways to approach websites. We'll be the go-to place for a business whether they are starting out or need a completely new re-build.

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: We believe the web will be completely different and not as we know it and there will be more of the 'physical' web. If we look back just 10 years ago we didn't have the mobile devices we do today and that will continue to grow as people turn more and more to smartphones in order to gain the information they need. That's why all our websites are mobile friendly.

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: Both PC and Mac

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: In order to relax and get our minds away from the digital world we used to have an allotment and grew a variety of fruit and veg on our 'patch'. A website is made up of millions of pixels and as we build/grow websites we thought it was a great play on words - pixel patch

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Keep up to date - much like a physical shop, if you don't keep up with the maintenance it will start to degrade and it won't appeal to people so they'll stop walking through the door. Technology changes so quickly and as more and more businesses setup online, you need to separate yourself from the novices. Keep your website up to date with constant changes and you'll be rewarded by appearing higher up the search engines and better audience engagement.
