Q: What's your name and position in the company?
A: I'm Robert Moritz. I'm the co-founder of NDS

Q: Describe your company in 5 words.
A: Absolutely awesome Cardiff web designers

Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: To create the best product for our client. We want to be able to show off as much as possible. We like attention. That means our clients need to have the best of what's out there, and is something is not out there, we make it.

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: We are in Regus Cardiff. 15th floor office with amazing view at Cardiff

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: We work in the same room. At times we want to kill each other. We are fully integrated. I've been working with them for years

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: Apart from the fact that we are the best, we are trilingual. We design using Agile method, meaning we can cater to changing specifications. We maintain, often daily, communication with client, to ensure they are happy.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Word of mouth. All our clients so far, either knew us or heard about us from previous clients. We are currently working on changing that

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: We use our own project management system, along with milestones

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Communication and understanding their needs as well as their business. Once we know their business and hear them, we have full understanding of what the website should be like.

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: With years of practice teaching children. I used to work as Sailing Instructor. No client could possibly be more demanding than a group of 12 year olds. That's not a challenge. Don't try to prove me wrong, please :-)

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: That's always been difficult. I would talk to all of them. Ask to see the contract and read it. Ask them how do they know what it is that you want? After all. you are paying, and you expect to see what you want. We do that by providing you with a Brief, which client needs to fill out and return to us. That's done before any offer is made.

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: In London :-)

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: It will merge with software. With the rise of disruptive technologies, and mobile phone along with ever cheaper internet access, there will be no need for any software to work on your pc or tablet. It will all be done somewhere else. You will just be connected to it. Cloud computing.

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: Both PC and Mac

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: Accident? We were going for Varnot, but a quick Google revealed that it's very popular. So we cut it short to just Nott, which is a goddess on night in the norse mythology. Suits us very well. You won't see us in the early hours of the morning.

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Use it. Google results are partially based on how up-to-date the website is. Most websites have blogs. They raise popularity, and hopefully clients. Also, don't write on them anything that will work always. Stay up to date, and don't be afraid to change it. All content has to be relevant
