Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: Our work is the presentation of our capabilities. We have the answers to all of your Marketing requirements.

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: Light and airy, vista views, comfortable and it smells of coffee!

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: We all work and play together, i.e. we're friends as well as work colleagues. Some of us have been friends since the 70's! With a 50 / 50 mix of designers and techies we have the ideal balance of knowledge and power!

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: We are accredited to register .gov.uk Domain names and can therefore design, build and host Local Government and Education Authority websites. We're very well established and therefore experienced in all aspects of design and marketing not just web design.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: We've never had to advertise, so you can probably figure this one out! All of our customers come to us by word of mouth, recommendation or just by us chatting to people we meet while out and about.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: It's a 3 stage, two way process starting with a consultation to determine your needs & wants. Then a quote, a small deposit followed by design and more consultation. Once accepted another small deposit, build and launch. Monthly payments for the balance ensure a long-term relationship is built up.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Our clients pay us monthly, we have to keep them happy otherwise they don't pay! It's a mutually beneficial method of keeping both parties in touch throughout the life of a project. Communication is the most important element to any Business relationship.

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: Clients don't pay until the jobs done so they don't tend to be too demanding, they usually understand that they are scheduled in and are happy to take thier turn.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: It's all about who you can work with first and value for money second in our view. It's no good having a great deal if you cant get on with the people involved with making it all happen because that will be reflected in the quality of the end product.

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: We're expanding into overseas markets in the near future and we expect to have a twin of our company in North America within a couple of years. Our UK business will always remain a very local company for the majority of our customers in Staffordshire and Shropshire.

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: Sadly, the market is flooded with one man bands who sell templated websites to costumers who don't know any better. These sites are often poorly promoted and don't do the customer, or indeed the industry, any favours. We feel that this will always be the case, we just have to raise the bar but that unfortunately takes more effort and costs more money.

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: Both PC and Mac

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: Linxdesign is a blend of Linx as in website hyperlinks (ok so our spelling is rubbish) and Design as in design and marketing.

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Use the CMS and keep it up to date and if you don't have CMS then call us and we'll do it for you for free.
