Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: Lets Build The Future... We blend cutting-edge technology with beautiful design in unique ways to build the future.

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: KIJO was started based on a simple idea. The idea was to create a design agency that combined cutting edge technology with stunning visuals and aesthetics. Kulture is the embodiment of these ideals into the very core of the agency. From the way we conduct our work, to the team members who join us, to every decision we make. Kulture is what makes KIJO what it is today and guides us to be what we want to be tomorrow.

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: We have open communication channels through various mediums, be that on-line via Slack and Basecamp, regular team and micro meetings or simply chatting across our desks. Team interaction is a key element of what we are trying to achieve at KIJO.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: Our unique ability to merge beautiful design with cutting edge technology.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Word of mouth and recommendations is our main marketing channel.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: We have a tried and trusted process, coupled with our customer portal.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Communication and transparency are the key elements to customer relationships. We always make sure we deliver on campaign objectives and timescales we set out before a project begins.

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: The same as manage all clients, we never commit to anything we cannot achieve and a project is set out prior to us beginning work so everyone is on the same boat about what we are trying to achieve.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: I would advise them to look at previous work the company had completed and talk to the company's previous clients. It always helps to go in and meet the web design team you will be working with and see the working environment.

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: On Mars if Elon Musk has anything to do with it! We will continue to grow and adapt with the industry wherever that takes us.

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: The future is quite a broad term. Web design will evolve in ways we probably haven't thought of yet with emergence of voice search and AR technology. We hold regular Build the Future sessions that we will be showcasing on our www.KIJO.co.uk website, maybe this will be a topic we can talk about.

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: Mac

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: The story starts around 15 years ago when brothers Kirk & Jordan started helping local businesses develop their websites & market themselves online. The KIJO name is a combination of the initials of these two founders.

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: See it as tool to engage people. a website is not a static medium and should be a constantly on-going project.
