ISSL is a small website and web development company based in Rossendale Lancashire. Owned privately by Paul and Lisa Spann, the company has grown and developed over the last 11 years specialising in property websites. The range of our work has diversified and includes sites for the Vulcan Bomber, the largest Garden Railway website and forum in the UK, local small, medium and large business websites and everything else in between.
All our websites are built in Content Management Systems (CMS), include basic SEO on all pages, built to the latest standards and comply with the Equality Act.

Survived the end of the first full week back at the office after the holiday season and what a busy week it has been.
Websites that take too long to load
This was a blog that I wrote in March 2013 and is more like a rant to be honest. As you would expect I do most things online banking, shopping and reading the news etc. I also use the web to follow my interests.
Having been frustrated by how slow a website was over the weekend, this prompted me to investigate further why some websites take so long to load.
