Q : How was your company name chosen?
A : I wanted a name that fit in with certain criteria: 1) Young, fresh and Modern. 2) Descriptive of our services. 3) Memorable. 4) It had to translate into a fun and descriptive domain name. Gr8 Internet Solutions fit those criteria perfectly! Our reputation for great (gr8) solutions is available all over the web for everyone to see. The use of the slang/text term "Gr8" gives the fresh and modern image we were looking for. It clearly describes what we do - offer Gr8 Internet Solutions! It is a memorable (and fun) name thanks to it's simplicity and descriptive nature. Finally, it translated perfectly into our domain name GR8INTER.NET .

Jamie from Gr8 Internet Solutions created a superb Joomla website which integrated with Moodle, to help us with our training school by allowing some of our registered members to study online.
Unfortunately, due to JAUPT regulations, we had to stop using the online training facilities so that our members received "class room hours" instead.
I had a go at building a new site a few years ago, but wish I had used their services again as my current site is nowhere near how I would like it to look.
Would highly recommend Jamie and his company!

Starting with the design of our site, they achieved exactly what we had requested and produced a design that perfectly matched our vision for the site.
They then developed a Joomla theme, to help us to realise our vision, launching the site quickly and efficiently.
Gr8 internet solutions were highly professional throughout the process and ensured that they communicated with us on everything throughout the whole process.

A: The majority of our business is sourced privately and much of it is through direct enquiries from potential clients. We're fortunate in that our hard earned reputation speaks for itself. With the quality of work we produce and the high level of existing clients, new prospects already know that they are getting great quality when they work with Gr8 Internet Solutions.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: Constant contact is paramount! We generally use Phone, Email, Skype and mutually shared project management tools.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: LISTENING! A client will generally have an in-depth knowledge of both; their own business and their competitors. They know what they do and they know what they need to do to improve and grow. Allowing a client to inform us of their business/passion in as much detail as they wish, gives us the information we need as developers/designers to make sure that they achieve those goals. Without the knowledge they provide, the solutions are not complete or fit for their purpose!

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: Sometimes a client may want something specific for their site, which would actually cause more damage than good. We offer expert guidance at all times, to inform our clients of all pros and cons of certain functionality. We always work closely with our clients to find the best possible solutions for them or their business - we want them to succeed, after-all!

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Keep things simple! A good web design business will be run by people who understand that you may not understand the "technical jargon" of the industry. Find someone who can display a great range of well designed/developed work, but can also explain things to you in good old fashioned "lay-mans terms" (simple English).

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: Web design is changing! There are more and more products becoming available on such a regular basis, that design is becoming a more simplified process. This will lead to the industry becoming a more development oriented one, recreating a clients creative design in perfect SEO friendly, optimised code!
