A: We strongly believe marketing is a measurable tool to help businesses maintain and grow, and our strategic approach ensures you can measure your return on marketing investment

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: We're a friendly bunch of marketing and communication consultants who thrive on helping our clients achieve their goals. We pride ourselves on our communication skills and this has helped us develop long-term relationships with our clients.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: We are a full-service marketing agency. What this means is we can provide the strategic stuff, as well as the resulting marketing materials. If you simply need one service from us, such as a website, this will always be provided with our marketing hats on… That is, marketing that gives your customers what they want and need, in a way that is profitable for you.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: The majority comes from recommendations and repeat business. Some one-off projects are won through our website (through organic SEO), but this often then leads to longer-term assistance with marketing strategy.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: Good project planning, including timescales, and strong communication throughout.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Good, open and honest communication

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: Through sound planning, including detailed project specifications, clear objectives, realistic timescales and agreed milestones.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Look at their portfolio of work and choose the companies whose work you like both in terms of design and functionality. Where possible, meet with your account manager or web designer/developer to ensure they understand your objectives and that you can work with them.

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: A bigger version of where we are now - a friendly, knowledgeable company with a passion for marketing.

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: Both PC and Mac

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: Not, as many people think when they meet me, because I have blonde hair! The name 'Goldilocks' encompasses the idea that we are 'just right' for our clients' different needs. Having worked on both sides of the fence, commissioning agencies and being commissioned, I wanted to create a company that is both personal and professional.

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Listen to your customers, including looking data from your website analytics, and make improvements to your website based on this feedback.
