Gingerweb did a complete, new website build of northdevoncarpets.co.uk. We are really impressed with his work, the new site is very sleek and intuitive to use, now working on both mobile and desktop devices.
We had some ideas about how we would like the new website to look and Richard was very accommodating to these, and guided us through the process with his own helpful advice.
Right from our initial call Richard was very easy to communicate with and spoke in a clear way so we weren't confused by any jargon.
Throughout the website build Richard kept us informed by showing us the website as it was being developed and made sure we were happy with everything he was doing and when something wasn't quite to our liking he was happy to tweak things until they were how we wanted. This made the final product exactly what we had in mind and we are delighted with our new website.

We are a charity and wanted to open an online shop - Gingerweb Ltd were outstanding. Very competitive compared to other design companies. They fully understood what we required. What impressed us was the shop website was completed very quickly. Gingerweb were enthusiastic to complete.We didn't need to micro manage or chase and got sent regular updates and to be honest Richard from Gingerweb understood what we wanted to achieve so hardly any changes were needed to be made from the updates. They sorted everything out cutting through jargon so we could understand. They set up all the payment options for the shop website liaising with those companies. They carried out training for the staff who were administrating the site before the website went live. The after service and support is brilliant - emails and telephone messages are responded to very quickly and any issues resolved - which have only been questions around administrating the website. The website has worked perfectly for us and we have seen sales increase which benefits the charity. The PFOA would have no hesitation in recommending Gingerweb Ltd for website design

I had managed with a very basic website for some years and thought that this was doing my work justice. I came to Gingerweb not really knowing a great deal about what I could do with a website until Richard explained what was possible and for surprisingly not a huge cost.
I am delighted with my new website, i am able to take payments for my work through paypal (I may upgrade this to Worldpay soon) and am also able to showcase my work to the world too.
Gingerweb also take care of my social media promotions, to be honest i havent a clue what Twitter is all about and i think its best left to the experts!

I had managed with a very basic website for some years and thought that this was doing my work justice. I came to Gingerweb not really knowing a great deal about what I could do with a website until Richard explained what was possible and for surprisingly not a huge cost.
I am delighted with my new website, i am able to take payments for my work through paypal (I may upgrade this to Worldpay soon) and am also able to showcase my work to the world too.
Gingerweb also take care of my social media promotions, to be honest i havent a clue what Twitter is all about and i think its best left to the experts!
Golfing Traditions
Nick Pearce produces golfing momentos that are unique, enormously in demand and sound investments, as well as works of art in their own right. Gingerweb Ltd have basically done everything from the logo design to the image preparation, design and build.
We regularly have requirements for adjustments and updates and these are mostly done for no charge at all, frequently we get suggestions from Gingerweb to assist in promotion and improvements.

A: Professional, friendly & always available
Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: We work from a home office and as such we are almost always available, all hours sometimes if really urgent! We understand that not everyone understands the Internet and many people don't need to. You do what you do and we will do our level best to give you as much exposure as possible from your new (or improved website)
If you are in North Devon we can meet up to discuss your requirements but many of our clients only use the phone and email - we even have one in France and many in the North of England
Q: Describe your office environment.
A: We work from home, myself and my "better" half (she might read this!)
Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: The Office is often just the clattering of keyboards and it is quite bizarre to be emailing someone sitting next to you but - it works and we love it!
Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: We dont have normal hours - often working long Sundays and into the night to get jobs done for clients in a hurry. Test us out - we have often had simple landing pages done for people in 30 minutes with a newly registered domain and full email accounts setup remotely (by us) and working perfectly!
Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Word of mouth is very satisfying because it means happy customers and we get a lot of that, but as one of our specialisms is SEO it is also great that we rank really well for web design and SEO keywords in the North Devon area which is our base.
Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: Generally it is all done by one person, me. I will take the initial call or email and from that can grow your new website. It is great to meet up but this isn't necessary - I love that first interaction, it is exciting to hear peoples new ideas and then see then grow into great new businesses.
Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: We want our clients to succeed, you will then be with us for years and we have developed over our first ten years into a stable solid business - we want to be here in another 10 years so we will are always here to answer the phone and jobs get done usually the same day - it all just flows!
Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: We have in excess of 150 clients, some we dont hear from year on year and others every week - the demanding ones know they are demanding and understand that we will always do our best - we havent fallen out yet!
Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Test response times to the first emails!

A: If we increase in size like we have in the last ten years we will be very busy and loving it!

A: The business is moving fast, keeping up with technologies is a challenge but is crucial to give your clients the best service. I think the only people using desktop computers will be web designers, everyone else will be on a mobile device - so every site has to work on every device!

A: Have a blog on your site to keep it fresh - share your blog posts to every social media channel and dont be afraid to ask friends and family what they think, just dont listen to anyone elder than you are !!
