A : We are working on a couple of consumer products aimed a certain sectors. We see one of these projects taking off and paying the bills

A : Way back in 2002 we just took the founders initials GB - and described what we did - IT Solutions. Job done.

We were approached by a company that wanted to sell turf and grass seed products online. Since the cost of turf is dependant on the quantity ordered and location of delivery, a custom calculator had to be built. This uses a postcode method to determine the delivery zone, and a further lookup to find the cost based on the quantity ordered. This is yet another example of a truly bespoke site for a client.

After getting to know a little more about his world, we went away wondering how we could work his 'Mole Logo' idea into a professional looking site. We are please to say (and i'm sure he is too) that we managed it just fine. An added bonus of the site was that within a few days it had paid for itself when someone who had visited a trade fair took a look online and got basket happy!

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Be sure to meet up with them. As attractive as a quotation may sound, you still need to have a good working relationship with the web design company (if you want results) so we believe meeting clients before starting work is essential.

A: Pretty strong. There has been a lot of marketing out there encouraging companies to build their own sites, but we believe this is a good thing. At some point in the future, those DIY sites 'want to do more' and that is where we step in to assist.
