Q: What's your name and position in the company?
A: Alex McMillan - Creative Director

Q: Describe your company in 5 words.
A: Creative, Fun, Innovative, Motivated, Passionate

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: Our office environment is very laid back, we don't have set desks. We sit wherever we want and get on with things. We have remote workers that can work from anywhere. That lets the creative juices flow and this shows in the end product

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: We regularly get together for nights out and socialise in and out of work. We're all friends and that's why we all get on so well.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: We don't like to take ourselves very seriously, we know what we do, and we're great at it. We have fun and get our work completed to a very high standard. I think comes across in our work.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Word of mouth or referrals from other existing happy clients

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Communication. It's a must! Without good, consistent communication the relationship will fail and you could lose business...fast!

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: A client is a client, there is no such thing as a demanding one. At the end of the day it;s their business that they are trying to improve, our job is to help them on their way to doing that

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Do your research, check out their latest projects and how well those websites perform. Contact them directly and have a conversation with them about how they can help.

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: I'd like to say that we'd have over 1000 regular clients (if not more) I'd like to expand to America, South Africa and maybe Australia as there is a massive demand for websites in those countries.

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: Everything will be web based in the next 20 years, everything so having an all singing and dancing website that appeals to your customers is vital!

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: Mac

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: It originally named Cheeky Monkey, which is what I call my daughter. After researching the name a few other companies already had this name. I wanted to start a Creative Design Company so I merged the names together to get Creative Monkey and it stuck.
