A: Relaxed, sociable and realistic. The studio is our designers temple - where the magic happens and the inspiration resides

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: We're all friends - you have to be part of the 'clique' to get on here! (Excuse the pun!). An intellectual meeting of minds, understanding each others strengths and supporting each others weaknesses.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: We understand your customers want to know why they should do business with you - not what you sell or how you do what you do. Having this core focus ensures your customers become return customers, not impulse buyers.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Clients contacting us and referrals from successful projects.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: We offer a free one hour consultation where we will establish the clients needs. This is also valuable for the client as we believe this is a joint venture whereby you have to be comfortable in the people you're investing in. The client provides a brief, we produce a proposal for the work - this explains our timescales and costs. The client reviews the brief. We then update it if there are any requirements that need honing down. We will produce a couple of concepts and the client will take features from the concepts, to which we will produce a final design - we then build this design.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Setting realistic expectations

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Make sure you understand why your business exists and turn away from any agency that doesn't focus on this. The key to marketing is ensuring your customers know why they should do business with you - what you do or how you do it is irrelevant and a lot of agencies focus on these elements too heavily.

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: The aim is to grow into an exclusive brand, as we only have finite time per designer and the company culture is integral to our MDs vision; so not every designer out there can work with us. Or as our MD puts it, "Take over Mars!"

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: Very difficult question. With the constant pace of technological progression, graphic manipulation is only becoming easier. More and more one stop shop websites are popping up that allow potential clients the access to create a website on their own time. They then pay £x/month in order to keep the site up. I feel the trend is that this is the future, however I feel this is unwise and unsustainable as website design is a skill that cannot be traded for a monthly payment.

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: Both PC and Mac

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: It started as The Creative Clique - and evolved from their really.... the pun above definitely is an old in house joke!

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Organic SEO is the key. Use your website as an engagement platform. Make yourself an authority in your industry by using Google's algorithms to your advantage - sound pretty crazy? Give us a call, we do this, well!
