Q: Describe your company in 5 words.
A: Complete IT solutions provider

Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: To provide IT support in plain English, and to work with clients to make sure they get the solution that's right for them. This applies to web sites, email solutions - as well as computer hardware.

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: I work from home, as most of the time I am out visiting clients.

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: I work very well with myself!

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: I work directly with my clients, and get to understand their business and what they need to get out of the solution. I do not try and provide something just because it looks flashy or it's something that is "flavour of the month". However, I do offer advice if I think that another option might be better.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Word of mouth.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: Meet with the client, produce a draft, discuss, redraft until we're all happy.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Listening to the client and respecting their wishes and thoughts.

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: With patience.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: I would tell them to meet them all and discuss the requirements. Ask for a rough draft of a page format. From that, they need to choose based on which they felt has come up with the best draft as well as which they have a gut reaction they could work best with. They need to take the same care in choosing as they would recruiting a member of staff.

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: Probably much the same as it is now. There are pros and cons to expanding. Although expansion would mean offering services to perhaps more and bigger clients, it would loose the personal touch which gained the reputation in the first place.

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: On the corporate side I think there will be enormous changes. For SMEs, it will not only become more accessible, it will become necessary to have a GOOD web presence. I would like to see gimmicks less, and the general standard of small business sites improved.

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: PC

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: It was chosen to best describe what we do.

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: It is difficult to choose, because so many things are inter-related. Good search engine results are very important, but if the design is poor, then no-one will take your site seriously. I think therefore the Home page has to be the most important.
