Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: At Activ Web Design Isle of Man we make the internet simple – our clear and upfront approach removes any confusion, worry or trepidation about creating a website as we make things as simple as possible for you.

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: Busy but laid back. Everything is organised in a structured manner but flexibility is built in.

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: I am the team. I work in a fairly disciplined manner so all work is completed to time.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: I'm approachable & always willing to talk to people in a language they understand. I can be technical or I can ensure all technical aspects are transparent to novice users. Always more than willing to 'go the extra mile'

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Word of mouth recommendations

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: I like to liaise with the client to make sure that we are both pulling in the same direction. I try to work at the clients pace as I completely understand that they still have to run their business

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Flexibility & trust

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: I accommodate them (sometimes whilst gritting my teeth ;) though)

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Pick the person they feel they can work with over the long term

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: As now but just with a larger portfolio of clients

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: I think small businesses will realise that having a web site is crucial to the success of their business - not having a web site will be like not having a phone

A: PC

A: Falls early in alphabetical listings, conveys the need to be ACTIV on the web, Isle of Man - covers the whole Island
