When we started creating solutions back in 1996 these were the early days of the internet, playing our part along the way witnessing the on how the way the world changed as a result. To continue employing talented people who create ‘the team’ that works together to deliver creative digital application solutions for our clients whilst enjoying life!
Q : How was your company name chosen?
A : Well . . . back in day, circa 1996 . . . we needed a creative name for our new business, computer 'icons' came into play, our original name was "ICON design and graphic communication” the name was shortened to ICON.net and registered as a limited company. "ICON.net" is also a registered trade mark.

Our relationship with Icon Net has been really good from the start. They spent a lot of time trying to understand what it was we needed and wanted from our new website and weren't afraid to offer suggestions to improve on our ideas. All requests were acted upon speedily and they kept us up to date with progress so we didn't have to chase constantly. Any queries or problems were dealt with quickly and without fuss and if they couldn't do something immediately, they told us why and gave us a time when they would be able to deal with it. I was particularly impressed with the fact that whilst we gave them a pretty clear spec of what we wanted, they still offered ideas on improvement, which is something I have never got with any of the companies we have dealt with. We are very pleased with the final outcome and look forward to developing the site further with their help and expertise. Well done.

I would unhesitatingly recommend ICON.net, having used three companies before, none of whom was able to deliver either visually or technically on my concept.
Icon.net shone through in terms of their creativity and enthusiasm from the outset, and their technical ability to deliver what is quite a complex site, in a cost-effective way. This was all achieved without a single face-to-face meeting and without any significant changes being required. Their communication at all stages of the project was excellent, and the site evolved without any hitches. It was completed on schedule and worked too, from the outset!
Icon.net kept to the agreed deadlines, and are genuinely nice people to work with : their interest doesn't stop once they've finished the build either. They're still helping me with the site now, as it continues to evolve.

I get great customer service. I always feel that Nigel and James genuinely want to help me build my business whilst recognising my resource constraints. They are great at explaining technical stuff in a straightforward way.
I am really pleased with the final outcome. The design work was excellent and the site is simple to use. I've yet to exploit the site to its full potential but they are proactive with ideas to help me do this. This will be where I get more value for money.

Autobarrow
A team of engineers noticed during the construction of a local factory unit that a lot of work could have been aided by the use of powered wheelbarrows. As the market seems to be well satisfied by large, expensive to buy and run petrol-powered machines, Autobarrow decided a smaller eco friendly option should be made available. Autobarrow then designed a range of machines using a hybrid of traditional and innovative engineering techniques to produce the virtually silent and very eco friendly Autobarrow AB1, AB2, AB0 and AB0+. Icon net were great when we re-designed our website and went over and above when we looked to create an online calander.
The website looks great and we get lots of compliements on it.
The calander looks good but is quite comlex to use and sadly it hasn't taken off as we had hoped but that isnt to knock the time and energy iconnet put into it.
Whenever we have a problem or want an amend things, they get done in good time with good customer services. My only compalint is when you pay a yearly service and hosting charge ..which for a small group is alot, little bits of work cost extra.

ICON took a very complicated brief and greatly helped us come to an effective simple solution. The attention to detail and professionalism ensured a confidence along the whole journey, and communications were excellent.
On an operational level the content management system has been well customised to our needs and is easy to use. ICON were by far the best choice above a number of other contending suppliers.

College Street is ideally located in one of the most popular areas of the City Centre. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars in the vicinity together with a wide range of businesses and services you would expect in city centre location.

When we started creating solutions back in 1996 these were the early days of the internet, playing our part along the way witnessing the on how the way the world changed as a result. A: Continued growth of web applications end users want information and services at a glance, these services will need to resolve fast, be available in multiple platforms and accessed on the go! We see the web design industry working on solutions developing lots more apps . . .

A: Well . . . back in day, circa 1996 . . . we needed a creative name for our new business, computer 'icons' came into play, our original name was "ICON design and graphic communication” the name was shortened to ICON.net and registered as a limited company. "ICON.net" is also a registered trade mark.

A: Make sure your web apps, website is responsive for mobile use and good content will improve your organic search results within Google.
