A: Passionate, Honest, Knowledgeable, Relaxed, Geeky

Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: Sussex Web Hero was formed with one goal in mind, make the web a better place, one website at a time.

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: A little bit cluttered with a very relaxed atmosphere.

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: The emphasis is on quality. It matters less when and how the work is done, as long as we meet the deadline and the work is up to our self-imposed high standards. As such telecommuting happens often.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: Our Passion, I for one would continue to build web sites if I won the lottery. Through the web we can shape the future, how can you not get excited about that?

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Networking and word of mouth referrals.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: This changes from client to client, but as a general rule, the initial consultation serves for us to get to grips with what client needs in order for their site to thrive, once the project commences we take part in regular email and phone conversations to ensure the work is going to the clients expectations. We never truly completely handover the work to the client as we believe that getting the site live is only half the journey.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Honesty, make everything as clear as possible in every communication. If there is a problem, communicate this as soon as you become aware of it. with clear and honest communication there are no surprises.

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: The same we do with every client, we will discuss matters with them until the situation is clear and acceptable to all sides of the conversation.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Trust your instincts, try and avoid people who promise the earth, instead trust the people who appear honest and have a love for the business.

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: We are not aiming to become anything huge. In 10 years time we want to have a stable client base whose sites continue to get better and better as new technologies develop.

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: Wherever it will be, it wont be recognisable to the industry today.

A: Sussex - Where we are based. Web - Fairly self explanatory. Hero - Heroes go that extra mile to make things better than they were

A: Treat your website as an important part of your marketing strategy, it has the power to connect your business with more potential clients than any other form of marketing.
