In a nutshell, Base Media provided us with an excellent service from start to finish. The underlying key factor was the relationship we built with their web design team and their understanding of exactly what we wanted. There wasn't anything that was too much for them.
Unlike other web design outfits, Base Media constantly kept us in the loop and always tried to explain the specifics of the processes they had to undertake. Putting it simply, they kept things as transparent as possible which gave us the reassurance that we were getting value for money.

I have used Base Media for 2 web development projects in two different organisations and the design of a scientific app for the iPhone and an intranet re-design project.
The first project that Base Media delivered was the re-design of the site www.npl.co.uk. This was a complex project as they needed to come up with a design that would allow us to accommodate the needs of a variety of stakeholders including government, academic and commercially focused users and integrate this design style with a very content heavy site. They delivered this project successfully and on time and after the home page design was implemented, the traffic into the site increased by 25%. The homepage redesign was very well accepted across all stakeholders.
The second project Base Media delivered was the full build of the site www.agplusdiagnostics.com. As a start-up company, we were looking for a fresh, easy to engage and navigate website that would allow our prospective customers find out about our technology quickly and easily. They delivered a simple, clean and effective website for us that has delivered exactly what we need. Again, we have received a lot of positive feedback on the site design from our external collaborators in its ease of navigation and professional design which is often not seen in our industry with small companies.

Throughout the any of the projects that Base Media have delivered for me, my experience in working with them has always been very positive. They listen very carefully to what needs to be achieved and have always translated this into effective design for me. The communication on where things are at in the development process is always very open and they have no problems in sharing what they are doing and explaining the process they are going through for builds. They have always been happy to answer any questions and ensure that everything they have done is fully understood.

I would highly recommend using Base Media for design work as they have always delivered fresh, engaging web designs to the highest standards are have been very enjoyable to work with.
