Richard and his team at AWD created my first website some five years ago and when I decided to build a new site to change with times and stay up to date with my competition, I knew from the outset what I would be getting. Having relied on their knowledge and experience previously I knew I would get the same result.

The team spent time with me to understand what my target audience and market was and they have created a website that to this day I am complimented on by prospective clients when I first meet them.

The design and concept was everything and more than I expected and with their sound knowledge of SEO and ensuring my site is found by potential clients. I now have a modern, smart website that generates more business than ever before and allows my business to continue to grow.

Being a brand new business and knowing the importance of having a good website, we carried out a lot of research into different companies and we kept coming back to AWD.

We reviewed their completed websites and following some good recommendations we decided to give Rich a call and go through what we needed. Immediately we were comforted with the professional and knowledgeable experience we were looking for, with some great ideas thrown at us already giving us a good understanding of the level of service and enthusiasm we would receive.

Having different departments within the company who specialise in each stage of the build, we began our conversations with Oli and phase 1 was underway in no time at all.

Within a very short time we were receiving conceptual designs for our approval and with close communication and immediate response times, the homepage was complete and ready to hand over to phase 2 where the back end was to be created.

As above, phase 2 went as smooth as it could with excellent communication from Gareth and page by page we completed all the requested tabs, and the website was starting to look real good. Throughout the entire build, the extensive experience the team hold was invaluable offering ideas and helping with laying out the website out so ensure it looks as modern and professional as possible.

Once the website was completed we were invited to the offices for a one to one handover and run through the CMS element. Again, the service we received was second to none and a real friendly environment made us feel very comfortable. With a few more minor tweaks the website was launched and we were able to start promoting to our customers with confidence.

AWD would come highly recommended in our books to anyone seeking a website build.

We approached AWD after having a horrendous time with our previous web designer and we are so glad we found them!

Richard and his team listened to what we wanted, gave us their professional opinions on everything, explained things well and they even created us a new company logo. We were kept in regular contact with the design process and the site was built quicker than we expected. We were over the moon when we viewed the site and couldn't believe how much attention to detail had been paid to even the smallest things.

We were really unsure about the content management system but what they set up was very user friendly even for us technophobes! We didn't leave the office until they made sure we were comfortable and fully understood what to do. There were times we got confused and guaranteed they were at the end of the phone to help and fixed any bugs found straight away. This included setting up a temporary email for us late on a Friday afternoon when ours was not working properly.

The work has not stopped since the handover as they have worked on optimizing our site on google to help get our name out there more.

We cant thank the team enough and will continue to recommend them to people looking for professional, artistic and friendly web designers.

Following our initial discussions AWD presented a detailed and professional proposal to us whilst displaying the type of confident personality I look for in a business relationship. They took the time to familiarise themselves with my business and the bicycle market in which we operate and explained for me the technical jargon associated with the project in 'laymans terms'.

At the design change only a few minor tweaks were made as the initial design proved to me that they fully understood both our brand and our target audience.

Initially I had requested a standard e-commerce website but during the development stage I asked AWD to quote me for an additional Bike Builder system. Much like the original price I found the quote exceptionally competitive and despite tight deadlines as I was due to exhibit at the London Bike Show, they altered their programme so this was completed in time.

I hadn't considered a few technical scenarios that the bike builder system could throw up but these were realised by the guys at AWD, who impressively also provided me with possible solutions to the problems.

I would be happy to recommended them to anyone looking for a professional web developer due to their technical expertise, understanding of what is needed to be achieved, attention to details and competitive price.
