I used the services of Nicecube Website Design to design and set up a website for my after school child care service, Cool Kids After School Service. I was very impressed with the professional standard of service I received. What was really pleasing was the way in which his knowledge and experience was tailored specially to promote my business.

Paul gave generously of his time and ideas to design a website that was particularly suited to my needs and the service I am providing.

http://www.coolkidschildcare.com went live at the begining of May and I am very excited at the potential for promotion of my business that it brings.

It was through a mutual friend that I became aware of Nicecube Design and Paul Higgins. As the nature of our business can be delicate, I needed a website that was informative yet tasteful. After a short phone discussion we agreed to meet and we went through my requirements which were followed up by his suggestions. I can only say that I'm delighted with the way the website turned out, the professionalism and speedy way in which it was set up and even though some of my requirements changed as the work was underway, there was never any problem changing work already carried out. I would have no problem recommending Nicecube Design to anyone who needs a website.

Paul Higgins of Nicecube Design created my new website from scratch. He sourced the logos, suggested the design, put everything together for me, without my even being aware of what a domain was. He was extremely co-operative, innovative, creative and hands on with my website and I am delighted that I was introduced to him. He took all the mystique out of the project and handed me the finished product in record time. I was thrilled with the results and with his patience with me during what should have been a very traumatic experience, as I did not really know what I was doing at all. He has helped me iron out the glitches since then and has even created my own blog, which I have as yet got to get him to explain to me. Our relationship is ongoing and he is very helpful every time I have a problem trying to work something new into the website. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

A: I work with a lot of people remotely so most of our contact is through MSN, Gmail and Skype...

A: I hate the use of jargon and believe in being realistic and honest when it comes to pricing a project. I enjoy meeting people face to face and giving them my opinion on what would best suit their needs.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: More and more of my new work is coming from referrals...

A: Meet, Prepare brief, Create visuals, Design/Integrate CMS, Oversee content & SEO, Test, Get paid, Go Live :)

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: communication and honesty :)

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: That one is a little too ambiguous :)

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: I would always recommend that they meet face to face with the designer and have a chat about their plans for their website. I personally trust my gut feeling about people and would advise clients to do the same...

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: I would like to be still working predominantly with startups and small businesses...

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: I can definitely see a swing towards apps and mobile sites. I think Social media, and twitter in particular, is going to become more integrated into how people interact with the web.

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Take a course in online marketing and develop an interest in your website, be prepared to invest some time in keeping it updated and select which social medium best suits your business.
