Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: Work hard, play hard! We started Doodle because we love what we do, it was never to take over the world. It was simply to enjoy going in to work everyday and be proud of the work we create!

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: Doodle is an ideas driven, creative agency so we feel that it's important for our office to reflect that. Our space is light and open, with a subtle influence of superheros! We have 2 work rooms, one for the creatives and one for the developers. We have a large open space for getting your head out of work and recharging the creative juices - it has a pool table, blackboard wall for brainstorming, cinema seats and a reconditioned arcade machine. We also have a slightly more serious meeting room, where we sneak in to eat the clients biscuits!

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: We split our creatives and our developers in 2 separate rooms. The creatives are usually throwing ideas around, brain storming, singing, using expressive dance - whatever it takes to get that magic spark. The developers usually plug in and get there head in to the job in a nice calm and peaceful environment. When the creatives interact with the developers it's a 50/50 split of high fives, fist pumps and whooping, or raised voices, heated debates and finger pointing. This just comes back to the passion for what we do, and making sure the job is done correctly. It's vital in this industry that our team feel comfortable talking openly to each other.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: I'd say our personalities and the passion for what we do, and I think this is reflected by the company. We love what we do and proud of the work we produce, we like to think that it's our work does the talking for us!

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Word of mouth, this is something we're very proud off. We like to think of this as an indication that we must be doing something right :)

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Trust! The client needs to be confident not only in the work we produce, but in being able to work with us. For this to work, it's vital that we deliver consistently, on time and on budget. We also need to trust in the client, for solid briefs, constructive feedback and making the difficult decisions when necessary.

A: Both PC and Mac
