Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: At Make Good Media, we believe in empowering our clients to take control of their business and their online presence. Everything we do is built with that in mind - and we always have time to answer a client's questions or provide support as they explore their website. Five minutes of support is free, but can be invaluable to our clients.

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: Our office environment is spacious, filled with light, and child-friendly - you never know who could be stopping by.

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: Our small team each has their own area of expertise. We each do our part on the projects we take on, and are always willing to lend an ear or offer advice if one of us encounters a challenge. Each website is an adventure we go on together - we all need to be there to get where we're going.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: Our client training and comprehensive tutorials, as well as our reasonable prices, set us apart from the crowd. We don't pretend to be another species that has some special web-developer superpower - we're people! And we work with you, not for you.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: We get the majority of our business through referrals and word of mouth.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: When we get a project, we spend a lot of time making sure that we know exactly what the clients needs and preferences are. From there, we do a custom PSD design, and submit this to the client for approval. Then we program the design for the web, and implement the functionalities and technology required to make the website fly. Once its ready, we go through 2 sets of changes, until the client is happy. Send them a tutorial so they can update the site themselves, and celebrate!

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: The most important part of a successful relationship with a client is regular, effective communication. We need to be on the same page at all times, and ensure that the boat is not veering off course. Then there's no room for misunderstanding, disappointment, or any unpleasantness.

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: We embrace demanding clients because it often makes our work better, pushing us to the next level. When a client knows what they want, and can be specific about it, we strive to deliver, no matter the challenge.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: First ask to see the portfolio of their work - you need to know that you're going to like what they deliver. Different people have different tastes, and your designer should share your preferences. And take 5 minutes for a phone conversation - you need to be able to work well with your web designer, and get along.

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: At the top of the game of web design and developent , providing custom and out-of-the-box solutions to clients all across the world.

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: I see web designers becoming the artists and business leaders of the future - and people managing their own websites like they manage their stores today. People will be able to use web development software as natively as their MS Word or their email accounts.

A: Make Good Media is about 3 concepts: We make good media. We are inviting you to make good media. And our media company strives to make good on our business and yours. As in do it justice. And that's what we're about.

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Be consistent in your updates and use all social media outlets and SEO strategies you can get your hands on. Stay current - this business changes every day.
