A: Interview them and discover what their pains or problems are. Figure out what's the best solution and offer excellent customer service. We work on a milestone by milestone format, so that way the customer can be aware of the projects phases as we research, design and develop.

A: Number one is listening. Second and a close number one is knowing when to guide your client to the right direction. Remembering the client is coming to you for services because they want a professional to handle a project that is very important to their business.

A: Never saying no, but always being very clear about schedules, deliverables and costs.

A: Immediately look for attention. If a firm/company has their customers best interest in mind, then they will ask questions. Start conversations and learn your business goals. Learn the users needs. These are not the only factors. I would suggest the client looks at the portfolio to make sure the design styles is to their liking. This isn't the case always, but if you choose a designer who designs things you like. Then, you should have smoother kick off when it comes to design. Last point is the references. Ask for previous clients and call those clients.
