Janelle has a very creative mind! When the client informs her of what he/she wants to see on a website, she immediately forms visions of the clients' wishes.

As an individual promoting my own buisness for over 10 years I was often posed the question "Do you have a web site?" I realized that to move forward I would need to get past the intimidation and began to research. It quickly became obvious I was far from a comfort zone and became overwhelmed immediately with words such as HTML, key words and J Pegs.

While at an art show I met Ms. Desroisiers who was very straightforward and assured me that creating a site for me would be an easy and exciting task. Her enthusiasm immediately put me at ease. She was very understanding and patient.

Her initial question was "Have you given any thought to what you might like?" My answer was, black, easy for anyone to use and expandable.

Within 2 days of recieving my first photo she had my site up and running, including a logo, e-mail and gallery. It was and is way beyond my initial expectations and my first sale came in the first 2 weeks. With current commisions coming faster than I can work.

Ms. Desroisiers has gone above and beyond in her creativity and professionalism. She is easy to contact, and prompt in returning any e-mails or calls. Any additions have been addressed and taken care of in a 24 hour span. Her proficiency is quite astounding and I highly recommend her services to any buisness to increase sales or exposure.

Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: I believe that quality design services should be available to small or local business owners at prices that are reasonable and within reach. Every business should be invested in their own image and their own promotion and I work for each of my clients as a tool to reach their marketing goals.

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: Colorful and sunny; to promote energy, creativity and positivity! I like to make sure that I'm always stocked with lots of papers, markers, pencils, paints and have lots of free space so that when I'm inspired I can go with it. :)

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: Not only do I have an educational background in graphic and web design, but I have also worked on very high profile campaigns with the best advertising agency in Manitoba, both as an in-house designer and now providing freelance work. My goal is to combine the effectiveness and professionalism of a full-service agency with the personal and creative touch of freelance work.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Referrals from satisfied clients.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: I believe in openness and timeliness in order to maximize the success of a project. I like to sit down with clients to go over an initial creative brief and identify exactly what the client's needs, wants and goals are for the project. Next is a period of research that focusses on my client's customer base, as well as their competitors. With this research in mind, I enter the development phase. After I submit potential solutions to the client, we review suggested changes together to make sure that we are still on target with the initial goals identified. The product is then tested to iron out any kinks. Once both the client and I are satisfied that the product meets/exceeds expectations, the product is delivered!

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Respect. Both designers and clients must respect each other's knowledge, experience and expertise in their respective fields. This helps create a positive environment that is conducive not only to a successful work relationship, but to successful projects!

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: Both PC and Mac

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Imagine yourself as your client/customer. Look at your website from a client's perspective and ask yourself what they want and what they need to go from simply viewing your website to actively becoming your customer.
