A: Creative, fun, efficient, professional, agile

Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: The studio was founded in 2003 on the belief that good design always includes creativity, a clear message and achievable goals. A piece of work that looks great but fails to speak to its audience or fails to hit targets, is not good design.

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: Whilst our work environment is casual (jeans are not uncommon in the office), our work ethic is not. We work hard. It shows in the results.

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: We are NOT your typical IT geeks, snobby designers or over the top sales people. Nor are we a big faceless corporation. We're a friendly bunch.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: You know your industry. We know design & web. Working together we can do amazing. No matter who you are... we deliver the same integrity & dedication to deliver a smart solution for your needs.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Our clients come from 2 streams: 1. word of mouth referrals and 2. Google search.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: We don't pitch 3 or 5 random design ideas to you, as that leads to an unfocused online campaign. We want to see you get results. That's why we get to know your business, your customers and your needs.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Open honest communication.

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: Its all about communication.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Talk to each company. Your website is never "done". It is a constantly evolving thing so you need to have a great relationship with your web marketing company.

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: We don't have any ambition to become one of the big agencies. Instead we intend to keep a humble but highly talented team dedicated to delivering cutting edge solutions that achieve great results.

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: The web world will continue to be ingrained into our lives - online shopping, looking for services, social media etc. It will rapidly become more mobile.

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: Both PC and Mac

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: Wanting to keep the philosophy of j6 design personal, Jane included a little part of herself in the name (hence the j)! The 6 came from the 6 fundamental principles of design. The design is what we do!

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Clearly define your goals. When you know exactly what you want to achieve, its much easier to succeed.
