Q: What's your name and position in the company?

A: Contemporary, Creative, Effective, Marketing, Solutions

Q: What's your business philosophy?
A: Your business means the world to us. We believe in good service and great design.

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: Relaxed and efficient. Our office is spacious and comfortable. We use the Adobe creative suite in all areas of production. We have a wonderful view over a stunning karri forest and lake from our desks.

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: Brilliantly! Good friends and colleagues that like to inspire and help solve problems. We use companies to supply products to our clients that have great ethics and top quality products as well as great after sales service.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: We are a one stop shop, from the initial design of logo's and branding. We can create adverts, business cards, DL's as well as all other advertising material. We have proffessional photographers if required and we can design and develop your website. As we work from a home office our overheads are low and we pass this on to our clients.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Although we have cards and advertisements in the local area, we find recommendations from previous clients to be our most useful form of advertising.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: After the intial email/phone call, the client is interviewed either by phone or in person. The needs of their business are determined. The client is informed of the costs for the services that will be provided and the look and feel of the required products are discussed. During that discussion questions are asked regarding the audience that the company will be appealing to. If a website is being designed, one or two designs will be submitted, once the client is satisfied with the look and feel, the site will be developed and the copy and any other elements introduced. The site will then be uploaded and they will be invoiced. The client then has 30 days to make changes to the content of the site (not the design), after which they may choose to update their site using Adobe Contribute, though most clients choose to have us update the site when neccesary as we are fast and efficient, saving them time and money.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Questioning and listening, being clear and explaining the process in terms the client can easily understand. Also, making sure that our clients are happy with our services.

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: By finding them to be the ultimate challenge. If we can make a demanding client happy enough to recommending our services then we have achieved our goal.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Look at the sites that have been produced by each company. We would ask them to see if they feel the company will be able to reflect their business and povide the services they require.

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: PC

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: Laying on the trampoline on a lovely sunny day i4design came to mind, it said it all.

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Know your audience.
