A: AWD is a complete web solutions provider committed to producing quality products that are elegant, functional and represent true value-for-money. Offering web design, graphic design, systems integration and a range of other Internet-based services, AWD opens new doors for clients every day. So, where can we take you?

Q: Describe your office environment.
A: AWD's offices provide an environment that encourages creativity and original thinking - and plenty of creature comforts!

Q: Describe how your team interact and work together.
A: The team here at AWD plan and work together as a team. As we've got offices in both Melbourne and Cairns, our staff are highly adept at working together over vast distances while maintaining very high quality work and excellent communication with our clients.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: Most web design companies offer a solution to get you 'up and running' on the web. AWD can not only do that, but we can streamline your entire business to reduce costs and boost productivity and profitability with our business systems.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Word-of-mouth, simple. The majority of our clients are so impressed with our work, they recommend us to their peers and coops - a true indicator of the relationship that AWD has with our clients.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: Projects are controlled and managed via Ignite, our in-house business system. It allows clients to keep an eye on exactly what is going on with their project, at any time.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Communication. Without good communication, we cannot truly represent what the clients goals are in their web solution - thus we're contactable (or messageable) 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week.

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: Demanding clients might be the most difficult to deal with initially, but generally are the ones most satisfied with the end product that AWD provides. Knowing what you as a client want is always a good thing, and we will always do our best to ensure that your requests and requirements are fulfilled to the maximum extent possible.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Choose the company that has the most success in their portfolio with companies similar to yours. If that's not possible, choose the company that 'wows' you with their service and background research at your initial meeting - it's always the ones that come prepared that will do the best job.

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: At the rate AWD is presently growing, we hope to have offices open in each of the capital cities in Australia, as well as Auckland, New Zealand, and Los Angeles, California - we already have clients in all of the aforementioned cities.

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: The web design industry is fast becoming more than just people that make websites 'pretty'; it's taking over a huge part of everyday life. Massive multi-nationals and small businesses alike are using web-based business systems, e-commerce, even social networks - the web design industry is only going to get bigger.

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: Both PC and Mac

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: AWD starting off as 'Amazing Web Design' - I can't help my bad taste in business names... I was only fourteen at the time! Since, we've evolved into 'AWD Web Solutions'. This name portrays our business philosophy a little better: providing complete web solutions, not just web design.

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Exploit the skills of your web developer. Ask us questions, throw your ideas at us - almost anything is possible on the web. And, as always, make sure your website is XHTML/CSS compliant - these websites are almost always ranked better in search engines than plain HTML sites.
