For many clients, a static site with a dynamic news section is sufficient. We use an open source news editor that is user-friendly and efficient. Many clients start out thinking they want to update their own sites, but really would rather have someone else do it. that is why Webgoddess provides maintenance services for all sites we design. If the client does indeed wish to update their own sites, we usually use Wordpress, an open source, great CMS and blogging software.
