Boo

Boo

Office Manager and Boss of us All
Boo is the dominatrix of the domicile, office manager extraordinare, and generally the one responsible for making sure things run smoothly around here. She's never designed or developed a damn thing (aside from a few kittens in her younger days), and loves to supervise from the comfort of her basket, which she parks right next to the heater on chilly days. She also occasionally tweets.

Danielle Nelson

Danielle Nelson

Designer, Creator, and Client Wrangler
Dani is the creative force behind HGM. She credits her colour ninja grand master, Mark "Big Guy" Tauber, with all the weird things she can do with colour and design (it’s amazing the life skills one can pick up in a hardware store at 19) and designed her first websites on Geocities and Angelfire in the mid- to late- 90s (but please don’t hold that against her.) Dani is also the voice of Hot Glue, so to speak, and is the person you’re most likely to get on the phone, on your voicemail, or on your audio file.

Kate Jones

Kate Jones

Assistant Extraordinaire
Dani's gofer and Boo's confidante (or she was, back when we all lived in the same state), Kate is the one who smooths the rough edges and spices the final product with its topping of snark. When she's not off making soap or walking the cat, she's photo-wrangling, ghostwriting, researching, filing, and keeping Dani's head screwed on straight. How she got to this point in her life is a story that she should get off her butt and sell to a soap opera writer one of these days.

Kerilea Butler

Kerilea Butler

Assistant Geek
Meredith's trusty assistant geek, Kerilea helps with audio editing, desktop publishing, software testing, general technical troubleshooting, ridiculous amounts of data entry, and occasionally the dishes. A former professional songwriter, musician, and stage manager, she now puts her useless degree in the arts to good use by assisting Dani and Mer with any of their geeky needs. When she's not working, she can usually be found frolicking out in the Buffalo snow with the dogs.

Meredith Matthews

Meredith Matthews

Head Geek and Audio Misfit
A published poet and former professional musician, writer, radio producer, news traffic reporter, insurance conveyancer, girl scout, prison librarian, and (most absurdly of all) document archivist, Mer is the technical force behind HGM. She assembled her first computer from parts at age ten and has been hacking her way through the world ever since. When she’s not developing, designing, contemplating PDF compression ratios or guzzling coffee, she can be found composing and publishing experimental digital music over at braindouche.net. Mer grew up under the flight path of the Philly airport, which may explain her penchant for odd noises.
