First, David Sheets is an artist in his design work, so it was interesting for me, an artist, to work with him on this project. He has a great passion and terrific 'eye' for art! And I think the website he built for me is exceptional artistically. It may be 'fancy' technology, but what shows is MY art, which is the way it should be.

Second, I wanted my website to have flexibility--wanted to be able to update it often and with ease. AND I needed to be sure I would be able to do the updates myself, to save money as well as to just be independent. I'm NOT that strong on the use of technology yet David's design allows me to be the primary manager of the website. I can add and delete images or add and edit text. It's terrific and empowering . . . and helps me to keep my website lively and in pace with my artistic accomplishments.

Finally, David is accessible. I call and he answers or gets right back to me. What a gift being available and responsive is for one's webmaster.

Recently, Aromatique Skin and Body Care went live on the web with the help of a beautiful website, www.aromatiqueskincare.com, designed by David Sheets Design. Before designing the site, owner David Sheets spent many hours learning the details and nuances of our spa and skincare business in order to design a site that represents us well to our customers. DSD has created a site for us that takes the viewer on a calm and relaxing journey much like the one she/he experiences when coming into our business for a spa treatment or to shop. Through expert use of flash photography, color, and sound, DSD has provided us with a marketing tool that has become invaluable to us. In working with DSD, we found them to be professional, timely, and very interested in our web design. In addition, DSD has optimized our site, allowing us to avoid paying the high costs associated with paying search engine companies for optimization. Within the first month, our site was fully optimized and we were getting new clients from the site. In tracking our first three months on the web, we could attribute 10% of our new clientele specifically to the website, and that percentage has continued to grow as time has gone on. DSD continues to work with us, providing us with timely website updates, at reasonable costs, as we request them. This has been a terrific investment, at a great value, with a very postive impact on our business.

David helped to develop my website in a way that I had not imagined. He took my idea of simplicity and gave it breadth. I have had many compliments on the opening page which David suggested. I shot the photos and he put it together to make a very dramatic opening page.

Deveoping the categories of artworks inspired me to get all the photos formatted. David stayed actively involved in the project during the building process motivating me to get it completed.
