Max Packaging
- Development
Max Packaging's situation was a bad one: They had invested in another programmer to build a uniformed way for their various brokers to access their selling materials. That programmer disappeared. Catalyst Media was able to build them an intense back-end system that they can administer and allows for easy access to vital data, as well as stream-lining their entire sales process.

Simply Real Estate Online (SREO) was looking for a quick redesign from their prior site, maintaining the functionality from their previous site. This meant building a database-intensive website from the ground up, and keeping things simple enough for SREO to maintain their website.

Brandon Rome
Creative Director
In early 2005, a freelance gig became a full-time possibility, so I packed up and moved to Birmingham to accept my first job as a full-time web designer! In late 2005, I learned CSS and have stayed away from tabular design ever since. Early 2006, I took a job back at IBEC as a "pixel-flipper", maintaining their company sites, as well as working on new web applications. Seth and I started working together in 2007, one thing led to another, and here we are today: Catalyst Media.
Outside of work, I'm fascinated by industrial design and graffiti. That stuff blows my mind! I'm also an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping, hiking, and biking. I also play a litte game called World of Warcraft, and my girlfriend always threatens to delete my characters.
I'm a fan of LSU football and the New Orleans saints, quality beer, and the underdog (which fits in to my Saints fandom).
Seth Graybeal
Programming Director
For me it started after high school, landing my first job as a tech support at a local ISP (internet service provider). This was in the early days of the internet, known then as the "Information Superhighway". People sped along the superhighway at speeds upwards of 56k, and if you lived on the wild side you traveled via ISDN.
During my time at the ISP, a network tech got me interested in a fairly new scripting language called PHP. It was used for creating dynamic websites. Once I started using PHP, I was hooked. I would lay in bed at night and dream of new sites or applications that I could create using PHP.
Looks like all the dreaming is starting to pay off. After meeting Brandon Rome, we both decided that the combination of my PHP skills and his design skills would be an amazing mix for a company we now call: Catalyst Media.
