Ad Trends Advertising, Inc.: Ad Trends Advertising, Inc. started as a promotional products company in 1991 and has added marketing services over the last 20 years, and grown into one of the premiere web design companies in Kansas City. Web Design is now the largest portion of our business.

Ad Trends Advertising, Inc.: To create custom marketing services and products to help our clients grow. This means seeing a return on investment for every project.

Ad Trends Advertising, Inc.: We are a creative and innovating team that works hard at finding the best solution for a marketing problem. We don't over sell or over think. We are successful, because we have found what works for our clients on a regular basis.

WWDC: Describe how your team interact and work together.
Ad Trends Advertising, Inc.: We have marketing experts, public relations and copy writing specialists, as well as a team of graphic designers, web designers, programmers, and internet marketers. We all collaborate on each project and delegate the task to the strengths of our team.

WWDC: What makes you different from other web design companies?
Ad Trends Advertising, Inc.: We approach web design as a marketing task, not just an expense or technical achievement. We fully expect every website we create to turn a profit for our clients.

WWDC: How do you get the majority of your business?
Ad Trends Advertising, Inc.: Referrals from existing websites and clients.

WWDC: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
Ad Trends Advertising, Inc.: Your website will start with a marketing professional, then it is handed over to me the Internet Marketing Director, where price and execution are flushed out. Then we create the design, style and function of the site with our graphic designers. Copywriters, marketers, and yourself will work on the copy, photos and content of the website, and then it is handed over to the web designers to complete the site and prepare it for launch. It then comes back to me for execution of the marketing and promotion.

WWDC: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
Ad Trends Advertising, Inc.: Open communication with respect to the assets of the team. Allowing designers to design, marketers to market, and the client to be an expert in there business. We know about web design, and you know about your business. Leveraging both of these will create a good website and healthy relationship.

WWDC: How do you manage demanding clients?
Ad Trends Advertising, Inc.: Some projects require more work and detail than others. A good up front contract outlining everyone's responsibilities usually leads to a quick completion and successful site.

WWDC: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
Ad Trends Advertising, Inc.: Professionalism is key. Your nephew or friend CAN make a website in their basement. What you need to look for is... Who WILL build the website you deserve? Who WILL market it correctly in the search engines? and Who has done it for companies similar to your size, industry and needs?

WWDC: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
Ad Trends Advertising, Inc.: Professional web design and internet marketing will be an integral part of business for the foreseeable future. I am sure the tools to create websites yourself will continue to improve, but the need for a professional will always exist. Just because you can build a car, does not mean that you will want to, or that you can build one that runs efficiently...

Ad Trends Advertising, Inc.: Prepare to invest some money and time into your website design. It is not a quick fix for your marketing needs. An effective website needs to be promoted and marketed over time to be successful.
