WordPress was originally developed as a blogging tool and it has great features to help with SEO. It’s very popular with end users so there are many plugins and templates to choose from.

Why use Joomla! over WordPress

Joomla! is a very powerful Content Management System generally preferred by developers for its flexibility. It’s easier to customise and create sophisticated applications. Joomla! includes a complex multiple user privilege system with user registration and layered content privileges. Less popular with end users, Joomla! is not as easy to use as WordPress

Conclusion

Over the last few years, we have created many websites for various companies using Joomla! and WordPress. We came to a conclusion about these two systems based on our experience.
In conclusion, we can say that WordPress is well managed and is really easy to work with, while Joomla! comes with powerful options and detailed parameters. As such, WordPress is better for the majority of content rich web sites whilst Joomla! is better for web sites that offer more complex functionality such as e-commerce and members sites.
