How to Rectify " This Site May Harm Your Computer Error Message " This Error
The websites owner may be a shady character and have willingly placed this type of virus on their website themselves hoping to grab their site visitors personal information. It could also be that the website owner left one of their executable files unsecured and someone has hacked into their website without their knowledge. (That is what happened to me on one of my websites. I had no idea but was thankful that Google sent me a message so that I could take care of the problem.) It really doesn't matter what the reason is of how the virus got on the website. You just shouldn't visit websites that have been flagged with that note for your own good.
Once your PC gets infected with a virus it can turn into a total nightmare. Years ago when I had my webmaster awards program, I had to visit a lot of different websites. Some of these sites would have viruses on them. One virus was so terrible that I couldn't use my computer for 2 days. That's how long it took to get rid of the virus. It was awful. I got better virus software and axed the awards program. It's great that Google warns you about websites that distribute malicious viruses BEFORE you visit the website. Heed the warning!
