A: Keep it simple, keep it fresh.

A: Its a studio not disimilar to the Tardis.

A: My team are my clients. Everyone contributes a massive wealth of input into building a successful site.

Q: What makes you different from other web design companies?
A: I like to think I can come up with ideas 'outside the box' without breaking the box.

Q: How do you get the majority of your business?
A: Primarily word of mouth.

Q: Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
A: Believe it or not most projects start with pencil and paper to document key requirements and ideas.

Q: What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
A: Communication and delivering on time.

Q: How do you manage demanding clients?
A: Its only fair that demanding clients know in advance what limits there might be in my time and availability, so again communication is the key.

Q: If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
A: Use hard facts not gut reaction. Get recommendations from friends and business colleagues.

Q: Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
A: The question I see coming up is will we need web designers in 10 years? Practically anything can already be created DIY online.

Q: Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
A: I see web design simply as a method of communication and a method of motivation. Technologies change rapidly and the way we communicate online is constantly being re-defined. One big example is Google-wave which if adopted in 2010 will change the concept of email.

Q: What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
A: PC

Q: How was your company name chosen?
A: The vector part has a dual meaning: a path/route and secondly its a versatile graphics technology I love. Vend is from vending machine: to make life easier, convenient. The two together makes vectorvend, web design made easy!

Q: If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
A: Don't let it sit unchanged for any length of time. Successful web sites adapt and update.
