I get a very good and personal service. They make a complicated job understandable to the layman.
They are creative attentive and react quickly to any request. They make themselves available and are prepared to work long hours to get the job done where neccessary.
They come over as being competant and proffessional and i just wish i had other suppliers who were as good.

Steve at TheWebSmiths was easy to talk to, he listened to all my ideas and came up with loads of good suggestions. I wanted a feminine feel to our website so colours, graphics and style of typeface were all important to me. Not having a technical bone in my body Steve did well to put things in a way I understood. Once he had completed the home page we got together again and fine tuned certain things, fonts, colours etc, after which he carried on with the rest of the website, keeping me informed along the way. If I questioned something, Steve always had good commercial reasons behind doing it and was able to explain in easy to understand terms, every detail had been well thought out. I am more than pleased with the finished result, Steve created the stylish, feminine website I wanted but with all the technical stuff, links, Facebook, Twitter etc we need to ensure this will be a commercial success.

My previous working history was the motor trade, the nearest I came to internet was the occasional email - to say I was a novice was an understatement. I took on a new role in a new company and the website ( amongst other things) became my baby, we've an unusual product that no one really knew of - but we have a massive potential market.
So - a novice, a new product, little web knowledge could have been the recipe for disaster !
I believed that I had the foresight to predict what would be wanted on the website and how it might look, however I needed the technical "know how" to translate my ramblings into something that worked.
Now I'll tell you the product... machinery to recycle food waste. Sound like a task to make interesting as a website ?
The WebSmiths have done just this for me, my site's a constantly changing site with additions and works in progress in the background - brilliant, jargon free advice from them and simple explanations.
I'm always part of the process, if it's straight forward I'll submit the changes by email or phone, it gets done no quibbles, however if it's something more complex we'll sit and talk it over, try a couple of test pages until we both agree - me with the format, and the WebSmiths with what will work foir the search engines.
I don't have complications, they just don't happen, I do have good communication and a great working relationship though, I take their advice when it's given and the site works well, we get a lot of complements on its simple layout, I need to make some amendments - but that's all to do with my time more than anything.
Honestly - I can't see me using anyone else for Web services again - and no I'm not a member of their family, next door neighbour or a debtor.... I just appreciate a supplier who listens to me and translates it into what my customers see.
