Candy had a Wordpress site that wasn't working for her - the design was so restrictive that it was impossible to show new pages properly, there was no SEO, and the site's Alexa ranking was through the floor.
Candy approached me for a redesign & overhaul, which went very well.

Tracey is the best web developer that I have worked with and I’ve worked with quite a few over the past 10 years. Her costs offer real value for money but what makes her really stand out is the value added consultancy she gives. She has a wealth of knowledge about Wordpress and Search engine optimization and shared useful tips with me while building my website. The other thing that makes Tracey exceptional is her attention to detail, she takes care of all the details and is thorough in everything she does. Once my website was live Tracey included an hour tutorial in the price of building my website to show me everything I needed to be able to update my site myself. She also provided 5 video tutorials especially made for me about updating my site which I can refer back to again and again. I cannot recommend Tracey highly enough and have had excellent feedback from clients about my site since she updated it. Thank you again Tracey.

Tracey helped us to create our new website for our business Metric Accountants. I can recommend Tracey as she is very pleasant to work with and very pedagogic.
She was very patient with us, as we kept changing things as the site was progressing. Designing and putting a website together was much harder than I thought, as there are so many things to consider. Tracey simplified this process and made us aware of issues with doing things in a certain way so that there were no surprises further along. This was much appreciated.
It is fantastic to work with someone who is making the technology part understandable. We were very happy with the result – please feel free to have a look at our website. Thanks again Tracey for your hard work.
Tracey is, quite simply, brilliant!
From first meeting her, through to the completion of my second website with her and all the support and wisdom that she has and continues to offer me, I couldn't ask for any more. Genuine, caring, thorough, generous and thoroughly clued-up Tracey takes time to understand your needs, from your perspective and takes you through the process step by step, consulting you all the way. She even sends you video screen explantions to help you to learn and become proficient at using your own site, that's what I call over and above. Her blog posts are always there to support and answer any questions you have too, all in all, the complete service.
I encourage anyone looking for a great website with wonderful support to contact Tracey immediately! Thank you Tracey and all the very best to you.

WWDC:
What's your business philosophy?
The Simple Web Company:
”I want to help people help themselves with their websites - empowering people by teaching them how to do things is a great way of freeing their spirits, and it also makes people return if they need further help with other aspects of their business (from a website point of view) - if I create someone a simple site & they're excited about being able to maintain the content, chances are when they want an autoresponder, they'll call me to do that for them too.”
WWDC:
How do you get the majority of your business?
The Simple Web Company:
”Word of mouth referrals - mostly from happy clients, occasionally from networking or giving talks on blogging, social media etc.”
WWDC:
If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
The Simple Web Company:
”The person the client speaks to must understand their requirements, have an empathy with the client, and quickly assess their level if technical know how so that you don't talk to the client at the wrong level, and risk overwhelming them.
Listening to clients is highly important.
I would always suggest using recommendations as a basis to start researching suppliers - word of mouth is very useful.”
WWDC:
What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
The Simple Web Company:
”PC”
WWDC:
How was your company name chosen?
The Simple Web Company:

WWDC:
If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
The Simple Web Company:
”Make sure you know what you want your website to DO for your business, so that you can ensure that you & the designer/developer are working towards the same goal.
e.g. do you want it to be a "brochure site", do you want to collect visitor info for an email list so you can market via email; do you want to build your profile by blogging?”
