We wanted a clean, slick site and I love the blues we chose to keep it cool - making the wood look warm and keeping it as the focus of the site. Graham also added a Wordpress Blog which he is already using to good effect.

Crown Storage had a flash site that needed bringing more in line with their company brand and we were really happy with the results as it was particularly hard to use the Union Jack in any kind of 'suave' design.

Fiona is an equestrian photographer and she wanted to make her photos available on-line for purchase immediately after taking them. The site was built from the ground up and has an easy to use facility for Fiona to upload events, images and descriptions etc. Less is more was the phrase for this design and it is quietly complex, a very powerful and easy to use website. The project also included the logo design and subsequent branding.

Tjeerd Hendel-Blackford makes beautiful furniture and he wanted a beautiful website to show it off. Tjeerd had a very good idea of what he wanted and took me out of my comfort zone, the result was a site that still looks stunning to me now. Admittedly it isn't my MOST access friendly design and it is very indulgent ... but deservedly so.

Reviews
As the director of the Royal Signals Rugby Club (Army Corps Side) it is important to ensure that 'Communications' with our players were given priority especially as all the players were located across the world, some of them constantly on Operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. This I believe we can now achieve with ease. Max, approached me with a proposition that met our needs and that of his own conscience. For Max is a former member of the Royal Signals and was an active member of the team in his day! Throughout the whole process from stratup all the way to implementation, he has been a constant stalwart. He holds dear all the Core Values expected. his customer service skills are fantastic and is to be commended on his attention to details, only the best will do. Similar to an Army slogan....."Be the Best".
Our site is slowly being populated by non-technical people and they have the confidence to navigate through a superb yet easy interface. Lots of News stories, match reports, photos and the all important guestbook are critical to its sucess. Success I'm happy to report.
A massive thank you from me on behalf of all the lads and lasses involved in Royal Signals Corps Rugby.
PS A number of other Corps have shown an interest in the product and would also like to experience the sweet taste of having communications around the world! We all hope you achieve all that is yours.
Starting from a blank canvass, Max has produced for me a website that has earned excellent reviews from the people who have viewed it and offered feedback. It is simple yet very effective in showcasing my work....my next step is to ensure that my website is viewed by as many people as possible. The website and the associated business cards and postcards were delivered on time in line with my very tight deadlines....i had my first exhibition 2 days after the site went 'live'. My biggest concern was the failure of the email system to receive email for 4 days after my exhibition finished, when I would have expected considerable enquiries and possible commissions. Although this was eventually remedied, I believe it contributed to no enquiries directly from my website to date. Nevertheless, I am pleased with the overall service I have received.
We were approached by ThePigFarmer in September 2008 regarding the current status of our club website which had remained inupdated and active for over a year. After sitting down and seeing what ThePigFarmer could offer us, we had no hesitation in trusting them. We have even managed to put a plan in place where we will constantly devlop the site to keep it amongst the top sites around.
Our new website is now completely idiot proof and due to the user friendly CMS system now in place, any member of the senior committee will now be able to keep the site up to date.
Great Job!
Highly Recommended!
This website was kindly provided on a "pro bono" basis, so some patience was required in progressing the project. The end result was very satisfactory and we plan to add further improvements in due course.
Outstanding value and the customer service was a treat in this day and age! Max listened to what I wanted and set about making it happen - he is happy to change the tiniest detail a hundred times until it is right. I would be happy to recommend him to anyone who thinks getting a website is all about computers and IT - this is a design process - The Pig Farmer Designs have an eye for design first and foremost - with a level of customer service I have never found anywhere - in any industry.
Really impressed with the design and the friendly service.
I have been particularly impressed with the value for money offered by the Pig Farmer. We are only a small company with limited requirements and the product offered was delivered on time at a good price.
Found 'MAX' to be incredibly attentive and saw my website up and running within a couple of days bar a few alterations. I would certainly recommend this company to others.
v good layout - fantastic service - completed with minimum of fuss
holistic understanding of requirements
I am very impressed with everything about this company. This is the first time I have had a website and the whole process has been completely painless. I am very pleased with the end result. I had an idea and before I knew it I had a website. Extremely good value for money.
The site has been a good facility for our club and its members and Max has done a good job for the Club
General design and ease of use for visitors is first class and been an enhancement for the club

I had worked with Max at The Pig Farmer Designs previously on my own website - so when the Association were looking for someone to work with on producing a website of high-quality that would showcase the high-quality furniture-making of 15 individual designer-makers - he was the first person I contacted. Max's customer service is second to none (often instantaneous). His eye for design makes him stand out from the crowd and all the Members of the Association have expressed a great deal of satisfaction with the site he has produced. How he put up with 15 people trying to have their say on every pixel, I will never know. Thanks Max for an excellent job well done.

We were keen to have a local company working for us to improve and enhance our existing website. After trawling through a few dozen portfolios the choice was made very easy by the fact that so many companies just seem to churn out standardised templates, with just the text being different from one site to the next. This is where The Pig Farmer Designs stands out from the crowd. His websites ooze quality and individuality. The feel of a website is so important as it is increasingly becoming the first port of call of new and potential clients. The use of images and the overall design of his websites give a sense of style that lets pictures do the talking. Having worked closely with The Pig Farmer Designs to develop our site we were very impressed with the service provided. All questions were answered quickly (often within a few hours), and we were able to pester him incessantly with minor comments and alterations. The result is a website which we hope will continue to expand, looks great and most importantly, shows off our work to potential clients.
A pleasure to do business with, I am a big fan of people who arent afraid to go the extra yard to get the job done ahead of schedule. I would recommend this company to anyone.
