Equitector
Equitector is a specialist boot and shoe retailer - selling high-quality own-brand footwear to horse-riders, grooms, and hill-walkers. To reflect the quality of the brand, we needed to create a site that allowed customers to select shoes according to the dimensions of their feet. To this end we created a web2.0 application that shows customers in real time what boots they should buy and if they need a made-to-measure pair.
This is coupled with a full site CMS and e-commerce system that has been very successful for Equitector. So much so that they are now planning 2 more sites to cater for the European and American markets.

Cana Import is a wine importer based in Warwickshire that specialises in fine goods from Italy. We created a full content managed e-commerce system for them to take orders. Delivery is based on mileage, and the site works these costs out dynamically from customer-supplied postcodes. The site also makes great use of an e-newsletter system, where Cana Import can send out regular email newsletters to subscribers, informing them of new products and of special offers and discount codes, that regular purchasers can type in to receive money off future orders.

We develop and maintain the Barbour site. The site is a large, high-traffic global presence that reflects the client's status as a world-leading outdoor clothing brand. The site is fully content managed and multilingual, with content approval and moderation procedures in place to check content before it goes live. The site also syndicates it's catalogue to international resellers via a constantly updated XML feed. The site adheres to accessibility standards, using CSS for layout. We provide full behind-the-scenes functionality for Barbour to disseminate press releases and high-res imagery to press for marketing. The site automatically handles these images, automatically rescaling and repurposing where necessary.

Reviews
You would be hard pushed to find anyone easier to deal with. Rich and Trudi take the time to understand your business and provide real solutions with a site that works (fast). Our customers regularly tell us how much they love our website.
As a purely web-based company, it’s vital that our website works well for us. Not only did the Ideas Barn design a site that was visually in-tune with our requirements, but also very easy to use in respect of the back-end administration, which was initially a worry because of our lack of experience in such areas. The working relationship was very receptive on both sides, and we can thoroughly recommend their services.
