We have some top secret plans undergoing too that allows us to work with schools in the future so keep your eyes peeled for that!”
WWDC:
How was your company name chosen?
Templace:
”Our company name is a play on words that just stuck when thinking about it when I was just a teen. It comes from the technical word "template" for the first image of a website. Reviews
What a fantastic web design company. They are so very helpful and professional. For someone like me that does not have a clue about this sort of thing and is not very computer literate they are the web design company to use as they certainly know their business and they can explain things in an easy to understand manner. They are very approachable and they certainly don't make you feel inadequate and stupid as some of these sort of people do.
Made me feel I was dealing with a friend and kept me well informed as the process developed.
I am very pleased with my website and how it is handled by Templace and have had many comments on the appearance of my site.
Thank you Templace
Templace comments:

Jill Carroll
Managing Director
Jill is one of the managing directors at Templace. Without her, Templace would not be here today. Not only has she helped build the business, but she stands in as Customer Service when needed.
She helps deal in finances and legalities of the business.
She is nicknamed by the time "Teh old Jill"
WWDC:
What's your name and position in the company?
Templace:
”Aaron Naughton and I'm the Managing Director.”
WWDC:
Describe your company in 5 words.
Templace:
”Professional, Easy-going, new, realistic, relaxed”
WWDC:
What's your business philosophy?
Templace:
”We want to help the human race work to the future, which is why we aim our products mainly at small businesses who are unlikely to know anything about the world of web. We have specially trained customer consultants that will help you understand everything you need to and help you through all the difficult bits.
We want to keep our prices as reasonable as we can because we understand how expensive setting a website up is, so we always have some fantastic offers.
We also have some schemes to help our future generations, so keep your eyes peeled for that!”
WWDC:
Describe your office environment.
Templace:
”Our offices are fantastic because they're so relaxed and calm. We just do what we do best and work as a team. I may be the managing director, but there's no hierarchy, I just have different responsibilities to the rest of the team, we're all equal so there's no jealousy or rivalry. We're all such good friends we trust each other completely and know that we'll produce some fantastic work. Together. ”
WWDC:
Describe how your team interact and work together.
Templace:
”As I've already mentioned, OUR team are close friends and rely upon each other to make sure our clients get the best work, and we're not under any unnecessary pressures or stresses so the work isn't rushed. We allow each other to work in our OWN way rather than by ways we won't enjoy so our clients get the perfect crafted website for them.”
WWDC:
What makes you different from other web design companies?
Templace:
”We aren't all about profit making, we want to help the human race work towards our future. We know the world's moving the internet, and so should all businesses, so we want to help that process along.
We also have loads of offers on all the time to cut down those expensive first month's bills. Oh how we wait those bills!”
WWDC:
How do you get the majority of your business?
Templace:
”We get a lot our business through word and mouth, however we do like to try different techniques and try marketing in other ways. This also shows in our work as we like to try something different to stand out from the crowds of websites.”
WWDC:
Describe how you manage projects from the initial client contact to completion and handover.
Templace:
”A customer consultant will be assigned to you to help you create your perfect website from start to finish.”
WWDC:
What do you think is the most crucial element of creating a good client relationship?
Templace:
”We believe in creating a personal relationship with our clients. Each client has just one customer consultant who they discuss everything with and the customer consultant works on their behalf. Our clients build relationships with the consultant so that we can create the best website that is suited for them. We have strong relationships with our clients even long after they've stopped using Templace.”
WWDC:
How do you manage demanding clients?
Templace:
”We offer the best products we possibly can to our clients and we are clear about what we can and cannot do. If we feel there is a task we cannot do, we will recommend something else or try and work differently to get the final product as close to what the client was asking as we possibly can. If there are no other alternatives that we cannot offer, we will recommend other web developers that we know can help.”
WWDC:
If a client was trying to decide between a shortlist of web design companies, how would you recommend they go about selecting the right one for them?
Templace:
”I suggest that they go for the one that they feel most drawn to. You need to feel completely relaxed and confident with the web designer so that you know the worm you're getting will be the best quality. Also, I would suggest going for a web design company who's work is a little bit different from the regular run of the mill websites.
At Templace, our designs are unique to us as we want to help you stand out from the crowds.”
WWDC:
Where do you see your company in 10 years time?
Templace:
”I see the company having offices all across the UK so that we can offer a personal service to everyone in the UK. We want to have expanded our services and to have opened up many other products. We have some top secret plans undergoing too that allows us to work with schools in the future so keep your eyes peeled for that!”
WWDC:
Where do you see the web design industry in the future?
Templace:
”I believe that the web design industry will be the most fundamental as I said previously, the world is moving to the world of web everyday, whether it's to see the quickest route to work or to buy their weekly shop, I believe the internet will be the most important thing in society and therefore we need web designers to create that amazing world.”
WWDC:
What computers do you have use in your offices, PCs or Macs?
Templace:
”Both PC and Mac”
WWDC:
How was your company name chosen?
Templace:
”Our company name is a play on words that just stuck when thinking about it when I was just a teen. It comes from the technical word "template" for the first image of a website. Templace was originally going to be mainly selling plain templates so it was a "place for templates" thus making it "Templace".”
WWDC:
If you were to give your clients one tip on how to get the most from their website what would it be?
Templace:
”Be the most unique you possibly can so that you stand out from the vast majority of other websites out there.”
